Iced Baked Chocolate Donuts, Made in My New Donut Pan

So I have made donuts in my new pan twice now.  One time just a regular donut with a plain glaze.  Then these wonderful just the right amount of chocolate donuts.

I found a wonderful recipe on The MotherLoad, Fluffy Baked Chocolate DonutsThis wonderful blog has many great recipes.

I did use dutched cocoa powder, because that's what I had in the house and used vegetable oil instead of melted butter.  I glazed my with chocolate frosting ( eeks from a can! ), by putting some in a bowl and microwaving it for about 25 seconds.  I just dipped the tops in the icing and let them sit to set up.

They are wonderful !!!! So I would like to thank her for her great recipe !!!

I think everyone should own a donut pan or two.  I hope to make pumpkin spice ones next, with chocolate glaze.
