More sourdough adventure.........
I again went on a searching spree and found this great recipe at Food.com Sourdough Onion Bread. This recipe makes 2 one pound loaves of bread. I did change a few things up with the recipe.
First I used some sauteed onions not dried, and I used olive oil instead of the butter. Other than that I did use the bread machine and did as the recipe suggested and removed the bread dough at the end of the kneading cycle and not letting it rise in the machine.
This bread went great with our dinner of beef stew.
